Career and Professional Development

A unique attribute to the MSIT eBusiness Technology program is having a full time Recruiting Coordinator, who provides individual assistance throughout the 53-week program. The student's individual strengths and interests along with their diverse backgrounds make each career path unique. The job of the Recruiting Coordinator is to assist each student find their focus in a wide range of industry positions. The program offers workshops and info sessions with alumni and various companies, which gives the students networking opportunities and skill-development needed for their career choices. The students have the opportunity to work one-on-one with the Recruiting Coordinator to help edit resumes, negotiate salaries, prepare for interviews, and navigate the job market. In addition to what the program provides, all students have access to the resources in Carnegie Mellon's Career and Professional Development Center.
